Installation of the next section of road, including a bridge, a steep hill
to a store and a grade crossing (the other half).
This is the Real Road System in action.  I
needed a road to go up the hill.  I thought
that a windy one made the incline more
believable.  I had already built a bridge
out of plaster and a mold I made.
...This will change as soon as I replace it
with a Real Road concrete bridge.  The
portal entrance, too.

So, now I just cut out some newspaper
and fit-n-tape ( I just tear the paper and
turn it to the direction I want and then
tape it.  Fast and easy), fit-n-tape...
making the template was a 10 minute job.
I've set up my template
and am now setting up on
the kitchen counter.
I am using the plastic
sheet that comes with
every container of Real
Road.  This plastic won't
wrinkle and stays tight.
It's perfect.
I've drawn the outline of the template onto
the plastic sheet and applied the Realroad
evenly to an average thickness of 1/16th
inch.  You don't have to measure.  It always
seams to  flatten out to that thickness
anyway.  Just be careful not to make it too
thin.  It's easy to tell when it's too thin.

Using a fan will shorten dry-time to 3 hours.
