Grade Crossing
This is the most exciting part for me.
Real Road has such a low profile at the crossing that it looks and feels
real.  I love to watch my trains roll through these!
Here, I've put down some caulking under the road.  I will press it flat
with a flat object.  Where the road meets the rails (as it were), I will put
a thin layer of Real Road to adhere it to the rails and to help blend any
gaps from poor scissor work.

In the center I've also put down a bead of Real road to secure the center
section of the road.
I will place the center road piece onto it and press it flat.  Some Real Road
will come out between the rails.  I use a toothpick to clear the slot.  Here,
I'm running one of my more sensitive trains through the crossing.  This
helps to center the crossing and clears flange ways.
Here is the finished Grade Crossing (minus the road on the
right... I'll get to that).
I kit bashed a plastic grade crossing and built my own
supports.  I covered the built-up area with Real Road
Concrete and placed a piece of concrete I cut out on top.
I did this on both sides of the road.  The shed is secured
with the concrete as well.
