I have finished tracing the lines.

The bottom (left) section was tough
because the template was at such
sharp angles but with the photo I was
able to bend a coat hanger to match
to get the idea right.

A closer view.

I removed the template and got to
work spreading the Real Road out.

First, I mixed in 2 tablespoons of water
to the jar of paste.  Then I started
spreading it out to cover the lines,
about the thickness of a penny.

For this project I used 1 jar of Real
Road and 1 Lines Kit.

Real Road has a working time of
about an hour so you don't have to
rush.

After I had spread out the paste to
cover the entire road system, I trowel it
smooth with a putty knife or wall
scraper.  Light pressure is all that's
needed.  Just gently smooth it out
using many passes down each road
varying your direction each time.
Remove any buildup on the blade.
