Go to the section of your graphics program
that allows you to resize an image. Look at
the current size - in inches - of the 2 lane
road you selected. In this version the road
measures 0.1 inches wide.
Now here comes the math part.
HO scale equals 3.25 inches wide.
N scale equals 1.75 inches wide.
Divide the width of your "scale" (3.25 or
1.75) by the number listed in you resize
window.
It looks like this:
3.25/0.1=32.5 HO
1.75/0.1=17.5 N
Resize the entire map for printing by using
the number you came up with.
Example in HO:
Your map measures 3" tall.
Multiply that by 32.5.
You get 97.5.
Go to PRINT.
Change the scale to equal this height or
change the print size to match this number
NOTE: Printer change and so do the times.
If you have a question, click on the "Talk to
Ted" button above.

Print on multiple pages and tape them together
when done.
Tape this "new" map to your counter top and
then tape your Real Road Plastic Sheet in place
on top of your map.
Use the lines from your map as a guide to lay
out your Real Road Paste.
When it's dry and cut out, you'll have an
accurate to scale and dimension roadway.
